Kuoni expands 2026 Italy programme

Kuoni has expanded its 2026 Italy programme, with new multi-centre itineraries, 23 additional hotels and a stronger focus on immersive travel experiences.

The tour operator says more travellers are looking beyond single-destination breaks, instead opting to combine regions, cultures and hands-on activities into one seamless trip.

Product Manager Angelo D’Avino said: “Italy has always been one of our most requested destinations, and what we’re seeing now is a growing desire to explore it in more depth.

“This expanded programme allows our customers to connect with the country through experiences that feel authentic and personal – whether that’s staying in a historic village, taking part in local food traditions or travelling between regions by rail. Our travel experts work closely with trade partners to create tailor made trips filled with ‘wow’ moments that really bring Italy to life.”

New multi-centre options include an ‘Essential Puglia Self Drive’ itinerary through southern Italy, from Matera and Alberobello; and an 11-night ‘Italy Grand Tour’ that connects Venice, Verona, Rome and the Amalfi Coast.

A nine-night ‘Treasures of Sicily’ itinerary includes time in Taormina and a guided Mount Etna discovery tour, with the option to extend the trip to the Aeolian Islands.

A total of 23 new hotels have been added, including in the Amalfi Coast, Puglia, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria, Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore.

They include a cave hotel, Sextantio Le Grotte della Civita in Matera (pictured); an 11th-century medieval hamlet turned luxury retreat and spa, Castel Monastero in Tuscany; and Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort near Riva del Garda, set in parkland away from the busier lakeside areas while still providing easy access to the water.
