Trafalgar has revealed it will launch a third river cruise ship in 2027, just months after announcing plans to offer European river cruises from 2026 with two new ships.
Kelly Jackson, EMEA Managing Director of Trafalgar parent TTC Tour Brands mentioned the addition of a third ship while attending the ABTA Travel Convention in Mallorca this week, but further details have not yet to be revealed.
“We needed to introduce other ways to travel, so we’ve recently launched river cruising,” she said. “We’ve got two river ships and we’re about to launch a third ship in 2027, so this is just the start. We want to go multi-modal, so we have various types [of travel experiences], so we’ll see what’s further down the track.”
Trafalgar’s first two river ships, Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity, will sail on the Rhine and Danube from next spring. The programme includes Christmas cruises.
