Travel subscription platform eDreams ODIGEO is allowing members to search for and book flights, hotels and car rental via Alexa+.
Bookings via Amazon’s next-generation AI assistant can be made on the eDreams, Opodo, GO Voyages and Travellink platforms.
Alexa+ is free to Amazon Prime members or costs £19.99 a month.
EDreams said the collaboration with Amazon is ‘opening a new channel for customers to plan their trips’.
It claims they can ask Alexa+ to find and book trips based on their preferences and it will connect to eDreams ODIGEO to search and present options directly ‘within the natural conversation’.
EDreams ODIGEO expects to have 13 million global subscribers to its platform by March 2030.
