Aberdeen International Airport has confirmed that Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is withdrawing its service between Aberdeen and Stavanger, Norway.
SAS will discontinue the route from Friday 23 October, citing a ‘commercial decision’, an Aberdeen International Airport spokesperson told Travel Gossip.
Passengers will still be able to fly between Aberdeen and Stavanger via a daily service operated by Widerøe.
Saying it was ‘disappointed’ with SAS’s decision, an Aberdeen International Airport spokesperson added: ” Our team continue to work diligently with airline partners to provide the connectivity the region needs.”
Travel Gossip has also contacted SAS for comment.
