Titan Travel has appointed Isla Stenning as Business Development Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Isla, who brings 35 years of travel industry experience, joins from Hays Travel, where she most recently worked within the VISTA tour operations team.
She began her career in 1992 as a youth trainee with Lunn Poly, before moving on to roles at Co–op Travel, Thomson Holidays, Sunseekers Travel and Gold Medal.
As BDM for Scotland and Northern Ireland, Isla will be responsible for developing relationships with Titan’s trade partners, identifying opportunities to grow sales, increasing brand awareness and product knowledge, and providing agents with training and support.
She starts today (19 October), reporting to Sales Manager – Field Sales and Business Development Tricia Doe.
Head of Trade Sales Kirsty Bachelor said: “Isla’s extensive experience across travel retail, tour operations and overseas roles gives her a real understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our agent partners, and the importance of delivering outstanding customer experiences.
“Her enthusiasm for travel and commitment to building strong relationships will be a real asset to our trade sales team. As we continue to strengthen our support for agents and grow our presence in the market, I’m confident she’ll make an important contribution to our ambition to become the trade’s most trusted touring partner.”
Isla added: “Having worked in travel for almost 35 years, I’ve been fortunate to experience so many different sides of the industry. I’m excited to be joining Titan Travel and can’t wait to get out and about, meeting new contacts and familiar faces, and showing agents how we can support them and their customers.
“Building strong relationships has always been one of the things I enjoy most about working in travel, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience, enthusiasm and passion for the industry to the role. I’m excited to be joining a team with a reputation as strong as Titan’s.”
