Globus family of brands has appointed Karen Cameron as Sales Director, overseeing all trade activity for touring brands Cosmos Tours, Globus Journeys and river cruise line Avalon Waterways in the UK and Ireland.
Joining the business on 2 November, Karen will lead the relationships with travel agents, trade partners and industry bodies, with responsibility for all sales activity including travel agent engagement and training, familiarisation trips, tour operator product development and marketing, industry events and roadshows and media partnerships.
Karen joins Globus from Ambassador Cruise Line, where she most recently served as Deputy Head of Trade, following a promotion from Divisional Sales Manager. Karen has also covered the Head of Trade role as maternity cover, and she has previously worked at Haven, Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises, and Barrhead Travel.
