NCL reveals entertainment lineup for Norwegian Aura

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled the entertainment lineup for its new ship Norwegian Aura, which debuts next May.

The entertainment features a new production, ‘Whitney: A Celebration of Whitney Houston’, which has been developed in partnership with the estate of Whitney E. Houston and Primary Wave Music.

The 45-minute show, featuring live vocals and a live band, will be staged in the three-storey Aura Theatre & Club, with performances extending beyond the main stage.

Norwegian Aura, the line’s biggest ship to date, will also feature ‘ILLUMINOX: Infinite Wonder Unboxed’, a new theatrical production combining illusions, acrobatics, original music and visual effects.

The ship’s new live music collective, The Vinyl Republic, will perform across the ship, including two theatre shows focused on arena rock and country music.

Adults-only nightlife show LunaTique: Pop Circus will also return, combining cabaret, circus acts and cocktails.

Norwegian Aura will make its debut in May 2027 with a seven-day Mediterranean sailing from Trieste to Barcelona, before crossing the Atlantic to Miami.

From June, it will operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean sailings, switching to Western Caribbean itineraries for winter 2027/28.

Eastern Caribbean sailings will call at destinations including Puerto Plata, St Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay, while Western Caribbean cruises will visit Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Harvest Caye.

The announcement follow’s the opening of NCL’s six-acre Great Tides Waterpark on Great Stirrup Cay, the line’s private island in the Bahamas, earlier this month.
