Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled details of 21-deck Norwegian Aura, its largest ship to date, ahead of its debut in May 2027.
New additions include NCL’s first dedicated Indian speciality restaurant, Tamara, an immersive complimentary dining venue called The Panorama Room, and the line’s biggest thermal suite yet.
The two-deck Mandara Spa will feature 15 wellness experiences, including a Sensory Rain Pool, Snow Cave, hot and cold plunge pools and a Blue Glow Suite.
Family facilities will include Ocean Heights activity zone, with six slides, an 82-foot ropes course, mini golf, obstacle courses and NCL’s first overhanging cabanas overlooking Vibe Beach Club.
NCL is also expanding and redesigning several existing venues, including Le Bistro, Onda by Scarpetta, Cagney’s Steakhouse and Penrose Bar & Atrium.
Norwegian Aura will enter service on 21 May 2027 with a seven-night Mediterranean sailing from Trieste, Italy to Barcelona, Spain.
The Prima Plus Class ship, which will be able to host 3,880 passengers in 1,970 cabins, will then reposition to Miami for Caribbean cruises.
