Travelsphere and Just You have appointed Ashley Walker to the newly created role of Channel Support Manager, taking their UK trade team to seven.
Ashley will be the main contact for group booking enquiries and will also focus on cutting administration for the sales team.
The operators said this will allow the team to spend more time visiting agents and developing trade relationships.
Travelsphere and Just You are leading operators part of G Touring Ltd. Based at their Market Harborough head office, Ashley will report to G Touring Trade Sales Director Tom Morgan.
Ashley joins from Riviera Travel, where he was most recently was Senior Trade Support Executive. He also held roles including Business Development Executive during his 10 years at the company.
Ashley said: “I’m incredibly excited to begin this new chapter with Travelsphere and Just You, two brands with such a strong heritage and reputation for creating memorable travel experiences. I’m looking forward to adding my experience to the team and supporting our valued trade partners.”
Tom added: “Ashley brings a wealth of trade experience to the position and will play a pivotal role in boosting our efficiency and helping our sales team spend more time supporting our agent partners.
“We’ve invested heavily in our trade team over the last couple of years and this appointment is yet more evidence of our commitment to agents.”
The appointment follows the recent expansion of the operators’ global trade team, including Samantha Howkins joining as Senior Key Account Manager for Canada.
