Sunlounger Travel Group’s homeworking division Personal Travel Experts has expanded the number of its members in three months.
Head of Business Louise Rothwell told Travel Gossip seven new homeworkers have joined the brand since its launch in July, adding to its existing four members.
She also said Personal Travel Experts had received around 30 enquiries from prospective homeworkers that were a mix of new-to-travel, industry returners and homeworkers at other agencies.
“We will grow the team, and we’re aiming for 20 homeworkers by the end of the year, but we’re not just after numbers. We want to be careful and make sure we’re nurturing our homeworkers and giving them the support they need,” Louise added.
“We’ve had lots of interest because people like the fact we’re small and new, and want to feel a part of the team.”
Personal Travel Experts members receive a 70% commission and have access to more than 300 supplier partners, commercial agreements, technology and dedicated business support.
Parent company Sunlounger Travel Group has branches in Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Milton Keynes, Gloucester and Huntingdon.
