Jet2 is introducing a new route from Gatwick for summer 2027 and increasing its capacity by 27% on its existing sun and leisure destinations from the airport.
Gatwick will launch its first summer programme from Gatwick on 26 March this year.
For summer 2027 it will add a new route to Lesvos, with Sunday flights to the Greek destination from 2 May to 10 October 2027. Jet2 has also increased capacity to Ibiza, Malaga, Majorca and Tenerife. Majorca will be the destination best-served from Gatwick with 14 flights a week, followed by Faro with 10 departures a week.
There will be 85 weekly flights during the peak period from Gatwick to a range of destinations, including the Greek resorts of Crete, Corfu, Kalamata, Kefalonia, Kos, Lesvos, Skiathos, Preveza, Rhodes, Zante and Thessaloniki.
The Turkish resort of Antalya will be served by Jet2 from Gatwick, while the airline will also be flying to Tenerife, Lanzarote, La Palma, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands.
Alongside Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca in the Balearics will also have weekly flights, with Alicante, Malaga and Girona on mainland Spain also included in the schedule.
Other European destinations include: Madeira; Naples, Verona and Reus in Italy; Pula in Croatia; Bourgas in Bulgaria; Malta; and Paphos in Cyprus, while North African resorts include Agadir in Morocco and Hurghada and Sharm El Sheik in Egypt.
