Youth travel specialist Contiki has added Maldives and Fiji to its programme and says it has lowered prices in response to cost of living pressures facing young travellers.
In total, it will offer 76 new trips by the end of this year, and, for the first time, all of its tours will be grouped into eight ‘Travel World’ categories ranging from islands to festivals to budget.
New itineraries cover India and Japan, following almost a 29% increase in passengers to Asia from 2023 to 2026.
Contiki said a ‘refreshed pricing model’ meant ‘lower everyday pricing across its portfolio’ in place of flash sales or time-limited promotions.
Kelly Jackson, MD & SVP Sales EMEA, added: “For our UK travel agent partners, this is about opening up a whole new world of selling opportunities. Young travellers aren’t all looking for the same holiday, and with eight distinct Travel Worlds, 76 new trips and a refreshed pricing approach, agents now have so many more ways to introduce Contiki to their customers.”
