Celebrity Cruises opens bookings for Celebrity Xcite’s debut season

Celebrity Cruises has put its 2028-29 winter Caribbean programme on sale, including the debut season of its new ship, Celebrity Xcite.

Celebrity Xcite, the sixth ship in the line’s Edge Series, will make its debut in 2028 with seven-night sailings from Miami.

Rotating itineraries will visit destinations including St Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St Kitts and Nevis, St Maarten and the Dominican Republic.

The line has also introduced a series of three-night weekend escapes aboard Celebrity Beyond from Fort Lauderdale. The ship will operate nine sailings to The Bahamas between November 2028 and March 2029, marking the first time an Edge Series ship has offered short Caribbean itineraries.

Celebrity Beyond will also operate eight to 11-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale, including six Panama Canal itineraries.

Other highlights include Celebrity Silhouette’s first full summer season sailing to the Southern Caribbean, with eight to 12-night itineraries calling at Barbados, Saint Lucia, Martinique and Grenada.

Celebrity Xcel will offer six and eight-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale to visit Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, while Celebrity Reflection will continue year-round Caribbean departures from the port.

The wider 2028-29 programme will see nine other Celebrity Cruises ships sailing in the region, departing from four Florida ports.

Winter 2028-29 Caribbean sailings went on sale on 3 November, with summer 2028 itineraries due to open for booking on 9 December.
