Scenic Group has opened early access to its 2028 Europe river cruise programme, including a new 10-night lower Danube itinerary from Passau to Belgrade.
Agents can now access early booking prices and Super Earlybird offers, with savings of up to 20% and return flights included on selected departures.
The new Emerald Cruises ‘Danube Capitals & Crossroads’ itinerary will visit five countries, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia, with overnight stays in Vienna and Budapest. Selected departures will operate in March, April and August 2028, calling at Passau, the Wachau Valley, Bratislava, Esztergom, Novi Sad and Belgrade.
The itinerary includes EmeraldPLUS experiences such as a Wachau vineyard visit and wine tasting, as well as a Serbian folklore evening. Clients can also choose EmeraldACTIVE hiking, walking, e-bike and cycling excursions.
Scenic Group has also redesigned its 11-day ‘Spectacular South of France’ itinerary, now sailing between Lyon and Tarascon in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, or in reverse, with six overnight stays in port and two late departures.
New land extensions for 2028 include Monte-Carlo and the French Riviera, the Loire Valley and Brittany, alongside a new Munich extension on selected Danube departures.

“For Scenic, we’ve reimagined some of our most popular river and land itineraries while retaining our Scenic Enrich and Freechoice experiences. For Emerald Cruises, we’ve introduced a new itinerary along the lower Danube, giving guests the opportunity to explore further into Eastern Europe.”
As part of Scenic’s 40th anniversary celebrations, agents who make a booking by 4 November 2026 will also be entered into a draw to win one of 40 prizes, including a European river cruise for two, a private vineyard tour, lunch at the Shard in London and lunch at the Ivy in Manchester.
