Meliá Hotels International has opened an all-inclusive resort in Bali.
Paradisus by Meliá Bali is on the Indonesian Island’s southern coast in Nusa Dua and is ‘centred on rest, connection and personal wellbeing’, the hotel group said.
The resort has 492 suites, four pools and a wellness and fitness activity programme featuring yoga and meditation classes, as well as use of tennis, padel and basketball courts, a golf simulator and water sports.
Seven of the suites are private garden villas which each have a private pool, outdoor dining area and open-air shower. Villa guests will also receive a sunset cruise on a private catamaran with dining onboard.
In addition, there are dedicated adult-only rooms and family rooms.
Paradisus by Meliá Bali has three bars and eight dining venues with cuisines including Spanish, South American, Arabian, Japanese and Middle Eastern.
The hotel group’s excursion programme, called Destination Inclusive, includes activities such as visits to local villages, performances at the Bali Nusa Dua Theatre and traditional Balinese dance shows.
All-inclusive rates start at £328 per night for two adults.
Chairman and CEO Gabriel Escarrer Jaume said: “Bali holds a special place in Melia’s history, having been home to our first international hotel in Asia more than four decades ago.
“Today, we are proud to see that legacy evolve with the opening of Paradisus by Meliá Bali, the first Paradisus in the region, located within one of the island’s most established beach destinations.
“This resort represents a new way of experiencing a destination many travellers globally feel they already know. Through thoughtful design, cultural immersion and a sense of ease created by our all-inclusive approach, Paradisus by Meliá Bali invites guests to discover a deeper, more connected side of the island, one that allows each guest to define well-being in their own way.”
