Magari Tours expands Italy programme with Le Marche

Specialist Italian operator Magari Tours has added Le Marche to its 2027/28 programme, taking its portfolio to seven Italian regions.

The new eight-day tour, ‘Le Marche: Italy’s Untouched Gem’, combines the region’s heritage, landscapes, hilltop villages and artisanal traditions.

The itinerary highlights the lesser-known region in central-eastern Italy located on the Adriatic coast between San Marino and Abruzzo.

It features visits focused on Renaissance art, palaces, Romanesque churches and local crafts including papermaking, shoemaking and ceramics.

Immersive experiences such as meeting a fisherman in Fano, sampling Moretta coffee, a hosted lunch with a local family, and a walking tour of Ascoli Piceno are all included.

The tour starts from £3,799pp and includes three nights at Hotel Villa Cattani Stuart in Trebbiantico and four nights at Palazzo dei Mercanti in Ascoli Piceno, with UK flights.

Sardinia and Western Sicily were added to the programme earlier this year, with the operator offering experiences including a visit to the Tenuta Olianas Organic Winery in Sardinia, a cookery class and a dinner in a historic Marsala winery in Western Sicily.

Magari has also created a trattoria-style stand ‘to be used in either travel agencies or at customer events’, designed to showcase its touring holidays in lesser-known parts of Italy.

Director of Sales & Product Tony Flanagan said: “This year we have increased our product range significantly with both Western Sicily and Sardinia added.

“Le Marche in the north is a natural choice to broaden the range and includes some unique immersive experiences not available with more main tour operators.”
