Involved Holidays has introduced four new guided walking itineraries, including its first in Montenegro (pictured).Â
The seven-night ‘Walking in Montenegro’ itinerary is available to book now for 2027 departures. It features half-board accommodation in Budva and Kolasin and includes five guided walks led by local guides.Â
The other three additions are in Italy and France.
‘Walking in Brescia Lakes’ explores Italy’s northern lake district, with guests staying at the four-star Novotel Brescia 2 and taking three guided walks across Lake Iseo’s northern shores, the hilltop hermitage of San Defendente, the Rocca di Manerba ruins above Lake Garda and the trails of the Franciacorta wine region. An optional Lake Garda boat excursion is also available.Â
‘Castles of the Loire Valley on Foot’ covers two nights’ half board in Blois and five in Amboise, with three guided walks taking in the valley’s châteaux, river landscapes and vineyards. Guests travel between the two towns by train, with an optional half-day excursion walk south of Sarre-Bruch.Â
‘Veneto Trails & Rails’ is based in the university city of Padua and takes in the Brenta Valley, the Euganean Hills and the Venetian Lagoon fishing village of Chioggia. Two free days allow guests to explore Padua further or join an optional day tour to Venice.Â
Involved Holidays Managing Director Steve West said: “Montenegro, our newest destination introduction, offers something different for those wanting a slightly more active take on our style of relaxed walking holidays. Offering five guided walks, this new destination complements our extremely popular ‘Walking in Beautiful Balkans’ tour perfectly and aids agents in matching one of our walking holidays to clients who are looking for a more active option.Â
“This expansion is a real statement of intent for the business and we look forward to agents beginning to share them with their clients. All four new itineraries are available to book now and truly strengthen the Involved Holidays portfolio.”Â
