Virgin Atlantic is launching a new service between London Heathrow and Phuket, Thailand for winter 2026.
Flights will operate three times a week from 18 October 2026, and the service will be the only direct route from Heathrow to the island.
Virgin said that, by launching the route, it is ‘capturing the growing demand for luxury winter escapes’.
Flights go on sale on 26 November, although Virgin Atlantic Holidays has launched packages with the new flights today (30 October).
Chief Commercial Officer Juha Jarvinen said: “We’re thrilled to introduce our new direct service to Phuket, giving our customers a flavour of one of Southeast Asia’s most captivating destinations.”
