TUI Airways axes some regional flights for 2026

TUI is dropping its own flights on certain routes next summer and will instead use third-party airlines for package holidays.

TUI Airways is dropping flights from Manchester to Faro and Bodrum, according to a post on X by SPD travels. Flights from Birmingham and Gatwick to Faro for next summer will also be operated by third-party airlines.

TUI is adding more flight capacity to regions such as the Balearics, Italy, Greece and Croatia.

In March, TUI Group CEO Sebastian Ebel said in an interview with the Financial Times that the company planned to sell more seats on other airlines, including Ryanair and easyJet in the UK.

For summer 2026, TUI is offering packages from Manchester to Faro on easyJet flights and from Manchester to Bodrum on Sun Express.

Earlier this year, TUI confirmed it would ground flights from London Gatwick to Costa Rica and Saint Lucia from spring 2025, but would continue to offer package holidays on third-party airlines.
