Ultra-luxury cruise line Explora Journeys has signed a letter of intent with a shipyard to build its first river ships.
Sales for its first river cruises are expected to launch in 2027.
The ships will be built by Dutch shipbuilder Den Breejen. Further details regarding the design, onboard experiences, delivery schedules and initial itineraries will be announced shortly
Explora Journeys is the luxury brand of the MSC Group. It launched its third ocean ship, Explora III, earlier this year. It has three more ocean ships on order.
