Ellie Webb to join Hurtigruten in newly created role

Hurtigruten has appointed Ellie Webb as its first Senior Sales Manager for UK & Emerging Markets.

Ellie moves from Carnival Corporation, where she spent 10 years working with the P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises brands.

Her most recent role was Sales Manager for the UK at Princess, where she was responsible for managing key partnerships and leading a team of Business Development Managers.

At Hurtigruten, she will report to recently appointed Sales Director Matthew Stuart and will work with key travel partners.

Hurtigruten Vice President Sales and Marketing, UK & Emerging Markets Hayley Moore, who joined Hurtigruten from Princess at the end of last year, described Ellie as a ‘brilliant fit’ for the new role.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ellie to the team as we continue to build momentum across the UK and emerging markets,” she said.

“Ellie’s appointment reflects our continued investment in the trade, and she will play an important role in expanding our reach and supporting our partners as we continue to grow.”

Ellie said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining a brand that is widely recognised for delivering iconic experiences in one of the most beautiful regions of the world for over 130 years.”

Princess Cruises Sales Director for UK, Ireland and EMEA Yas McKechnie said: “We are delighted for Ellie as she steps into this exciting new opportunity.

“Her contribution to our business team has been exceptional over the years, and she leaves with our sincere thanks and very best wishes for the future.”
