Virgin Voyages to bring back True Crime Voyage for 2027

Virgin Voyages is bringing back its True Crime Voyage for 2027, following a sell-out debut in 2025.

The departure forms part of the line’s ‘On Air at Sea’ collection, a programme of speciality cruises designed to bring popular podcasts and their communities onboard its adult-only fleet.

The cruise line has again partnered with iHeartMedia, the largest podcast producer in the US, to deliver a refreshed true crime podcast line-up, including Disgraceland, Buried Bones and Wisecrack.

The five-night sailing will depart roundtrip from Miami on 20 March 2027 on Scarlet Lady, calling at Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands and the line’s private destination, The Beach Club at Bimini in the Bahamas.

Guests will be able to attend live podcast recordings, meet hosts and take part in behind-the-scenes sessions, alongside themed entertainment and events.

Fares start from £826 per person.

Virgin Voyages UK Director of Sales SJ Walker said: “The evidence is clear: our sailors have a killer appetite for experiences they simply cannot find on an ordinary holiday.

“Bringing back our True Crime Voyage with a completely new line-up gives fans the chance to get closer to the voices behind the stories, while still enjoying everything they love about Virgin Voyages, from exceptional food and entertainment to the freedom of a premium, kid-free escape.

“With the last True Crime Voyage selling out, our First Mates (travel agents) should encourage their clients to investigate this departure sooner rather than later.”
