UK agents can now sell fully packaged PONANT cruises for the first time after the launch of a new partnership with flight consolidator Aviate.
The deal between the cruise line and Aviate – part of Travel Innovation Group – has gone live today (1 October) as PONANT Travel Collection after its announcement in May.
PONANT said the partnership aims to significantly expand its reach across the UK market through Aviate’s network of more than 1,200 operators and agents nationwide.
The fully packaged products combine PONANT cruises with flights, transfers and accommodation, with a dedicated Aviate team on hand to support agents.
Itineraries include the 11-night ‘Nordic Sea Treasures’, which sails from Brest, France to Tromso, Norway, and the seven-night ‘Pearls of the Caribbean’, with stops in Guadeloupe, Dominica, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
To mark the launch, agents who register with PONANT by 31 October 2026 will receive an additional £100 commission on eligible new route bookings for sailings departing until December 2027.
PONANT General Manager UK and Ireland Anthony Daniels said: “This partnership represents something we’ve been building towards for some time, and we couldn’t be more excited about what it means for the UK travel trade. Agents will now have a packaged PONANT Explorations Group product they can put in front of their clients – supported by a team that is committed to making it easy to sell and genuinely rewarding to book.”
Aviate Relationship Manager Clare Barlow added: “We’re really excited to be launching PONANT Travel Collection with the team at PONANT Expeditions, and can’t wait to get it out there and see agents making the most of it.
“For us, it’s about much more than putting a new offering in front of agents. It’s about giving them something that’s easy to access, commercially compelling and backed by a team who are genuinely here to help. We want agents to tap into our knowledge and feel confident that we’re with them from that first enquiry right through to their clients travelling.
“This is exactly the kind of opportunity Aviate was built to create, and we’re really looking forward to working with our partners, building on the launch and seeing where it takes us together.”
