MSC Cruises has announced its winter 2026/2027 programme, which will offer 168 destinations across 72 countries, including the debut of its new flagship MSC World Asia and the line’s first departures from La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
MSC World Asia will enter service on 4 December, operating seven-night Mediterranean sailings calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta, Malta.
The ship will feature more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, as well as an 81.3-metre dry slide – the longest at sea – and Cliffhanger, an over-water swing ride 50 metres above sea level.
MSC will deploy six ships in the Mediterranean, with itineraries covering Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Tunisia, Greece and Turkiye.
Longer sailings will include 10 to 12-night itineraries on MSC Lirica to Cyprus, Egypt, Croatia and Greece, while MSC Magnifica will offer 10-night cruises to Morocco and Spain.
In Northern Europe, MSC Preziosa will operate seven-night sailings calling at Hamburg, Rotterdam for Amsterdam, Cherbourg, Zeebrugge for Bruges and Brussels, Le Havre for Paris and Southampton for London, including calls during the Christmas market season.
For winter sun, nine ships will operate across the Caribbean and Antilles, with itineraries covering destinations including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Saint Lucia, Grand Turk and The Bahamas. The season will also see MSC make its first departures from La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
Meanwhile, MSC Fantasia will operate seven-night Canary Islands and Madeira itineraries calling at Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Madeira, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
