MSC Cruises has unveiled the entertainment line–up of its new flagship MSC World Asia, including six theatrical productions and 33 musicians performing daily.
The ship will operate seven–night itineraries in the Mediterranean, with calls including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta, from 4 December 2026.
The entertainment offering will feature 13 brand new experiences and reimagined spaces compared with MSC Cruises’ first World Class ship, MSC World Europa.
New productions in the World Theatre include ‘The Big Idea’, a cirque–style show built around the five senses and ‘Ritmo Divino’, which blends flamenco with a modern take on Spanish folklore.
Elsewhere in the Panorama Lounge, new show ‘Sunset Symphonic’ will reimagine pop and dance anthems with a recorded orchestra, live singers and musicians, choreography and aerial performers.
Live music will also feature on board MSC World Asia, with 33 musicians performing daily across the ship, including strolling players, solo artists, bands and the line’s duelling pianos act.
Entertainment Vice President Steve Leatham said: “MSC World Asia invites guests to experience the art of cruising through an exceptional mix of new and returning world-class entertainment. From spectacular productions in the World Theatre to innovative shows in the Panorama Lounge, guests will discover unforgettable experiences for every age and taste.
“Beyond our spectacular stage shows, MSC World Asia will feature an extensive live music programme, alongside enriching activities, games and interactive experiences, creating unforgettable moments from day to night.
“As we continue to invest in innovative entertainment experiences for our guests, we are thrilled to introduce a range of new performances aboard MSC World Asia that will excite and surprise guests.”
Creative and Theatrical Entertainment Senior Director Stephanie Jansen added: “MSC Creative Studios has handpicked leading creative talent with major credits across the entertainment industry to develop world–class original productions for MSC World Asia.
“We are committed to delivering innovative productions that are not only the best at sea but also stand alongside the very best live entertainment experiences anywhere in the world.”
