MSC Cruises has unveiled plans to open a new luxury private island in 2028 next to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas.
The cruise line said Sandy Cay, which will welcome guests from Explora Journeys as well as MSC passengers, is being created as an ‘intimate complement’ to Ocean Cay, offering a more ‘secluded, elemental escape.’
MSC Cruises is also introducing new facilities and experiences on Ocean Cay, include additional dining venues, new beach concepts for families and adults, expanded relaxation areas, and new ways for guests to engage with marine conservation.
