Azamara Cruises has unveiled eight golf cruise itineraries for 2027/28 as part of an exclusive partnership with Premier Golf, the Official Golf Travel Partner of the PGA of America.
The sailings have been divided into two collections: the Classic Collection, designed for avid golfers, and the Leisure Collection, targeted at casual or mixed ability players.
Available on all four Azamara ships, the itineraries span Ireland, Scotland, the British Isles, Northern Europe, the Pacific Coast, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Stops include golf courses ranging from Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland to Torrey Pines South in California, as well as Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand.
Passengers can play three to five rounds of golf, with offers generally including golf transfers, carts or caddies where applicable, lunch at each course, and welcome and farewell celebrations, depending on the cruise and package selected.
Five pre- and post-cruise golf excursions are also offered in Mission Hills in Shenzhen, La Jolla in California, Sentosa Island in Singapore, and Te Arai in New Zealand.
Azamara Chief International Sales Officer David Siewers said: “Golf and travel are both driven by a sense of passion and discovery, and this partnership brings those interests together in a way that is uniquely Azamara.
“Our guests can play some of the world’s most sought-after courses while experiencing the intimate ships, longer stays and destination immersion that set Azamara Cruises apart. It’s a new way to think about a golf getaway where the journey between rounds becomes part of the experience.”
Azamara’s golf packages range from $2,050 to $6,995 per person plus cruise fare, with inclusions varying by sailing.
Agents receive a 10% commission on golf cruises, as well as a 10% commission on pre- and post-cruise land packages, in line with Azamara’s current policy.
