Azamara Cruises has unveiled its 2027 Overland Experiences collection, featuring 18 multi-day land tours across seven countries designed to give guests access to destinations beyond the ship.
Available on selected sailings, the experiences allow guests to temporarily leave their cruise for a guided land itinerary before rejoining the ship at a later port.
Packages include accommodation, transport, guided touring and selected meals.
New itineraries for 2027 include the ‘Bora Bora Overwater Bungalow Escape’, featuring a two-night stay, available on the 18-night ‘Pacific Islands Cruise to Oahu, Kauai and Bora Bora’ cruise, departing 5 January.
Another option is the ‘Majestic Laos & Vibrant Hanoi’ itinerary on the 19-night cruise to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong departing 14 March, with a five-day overland journey through Laos and Vietnam taking in Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Hanoi.
Also featured is the ‘Shanghai, Xi’an & Beijing’ overland experience on the 14-night East Asia cruise to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing departing 2 April, with a five-day journey taking in the Terracotta Army, Great Wall of China, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven.
The programme is available across selected 2027 departures.
Director of Land Product Development Shandra Stoeterau said: “The Overland Experiences for 2027 invite our guests to venture beyond the port through extraordinary cultural encounters, historic discoveries, and awe-inspiring natural wonders.
“From the temples in Angkor Wat to the iconic lagoons of Bora Bora, these immersive experiences go beyond the traditional port visits to allow deeper exploration into the heart of the countries.
“This emphasis on meaningful cultural connections and immersive exploration is what continues to distinguish the Azamara Cruises experience.”
