Sun Siyam Group has expanded its Maldives resort, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, with 50 new overwater villas featuring private pools and 11-metre water slides.
The new accommodation, designed by Studio Sixty7, includes 48 one-bedroom villas and two two-bedroom villas overlooking the lagoon.
The ‘Signature Ocean Villas’ feature open-plan bathrooms with freestanding tubs and dual vanities, dressing areas, and 50-inch TVs in every bedroom.

Arched ceiling details guide movement through the space, echoed in the soft, curved forms of the bespoke timber joinery. Locally made artwork adds depth and authenticity, grounding the design in its Maldivian context. The result is a refined, immersive escape that feels both tranquil and distinctive.”

Gold Medal is offering all-inclusive packages for the new villas from September 2026 at £4,243 per person, based on two people sharing. Beach villa packages start from £2,350pp.
Prices include early booking savings of 25% on stays and complimentary return seaplane transfers.
