Ramble Worldwide has expanded its Weekend Adventures portfolio of UK and European short breaks that was introduced last year for experienced walkers who are short on time but still seek challenging, mountainous experiences.
The collection now features 17 adventures, including a further four high-impact escapes in mountain settings across Mont Blanc and the Alps, with prices starting at £999 per person for a three-night Tour du Mont Blanc France Weekend Adventure for departures in June and July.
The walking tours specialist has also launched a collection of five UK guided walking holidays to celebrate English Tourism Week, which starts on 13 March.
The new itineraries take in the North Yorkshire coastline, Snowdonia, the Lake District, the Peak District, Cumbria and Jersey with prices from £639 per person for the three-night Dark Peak Weekend Adventure for departures in July and August.
