Newmarket Holidays has launched its first tour to Australasia, a 21-day escorted trip to New Zealand.
‘New Zealand Odyssey’ takes in both North and South Islands, including stops in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
Other highlights on the tour include a day-long cruise through the Bay of Islands, a scenic drive to Rotorua, a cruise around Milford Sound fjord (pictured) and a cruise and hike through Abel Tasman National Park.
Guests also have the option of flying over Mount Cook, exploring the Lord of the Rings film set, wildlife spotting at the Royal Albatross Colony and taking a cruise onboard a coal-fired steamship.
Prices start from £7,151pp and include guided tours, 17 nights’ accommodation with breakfast, return flights from Birmingham, Heathrow or Manchester, transfers and internal flights.
There is a choice of two September and November departures in 2026, as well as eight departures in 2027.
