Celebrity River Cruises has introduced a new ‘Before and After Stays’ programme, offering agents an additional upsell for river cruise bookings in Europe.
The new pre and post-cruise packages, which are all on sale now, will be available in Prague and Budapest for 2027 departures, with Amsterdam and Lausanne, Switzerland added for 2028.
Two or three-night stays are designed as extensions to river cruise itineraries and include hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, transfers and one guided ‘Discovery Collection’ experience per day.
Guests can choose from at least three themed tours in each city, covering areas such as history, food and art. Example tours include exploring Amsterdam’s street art scene with a local artist, including creating a mural, or in Prague following alchemists’ trails or discovering the city’s beer heritage.
The line will operate 33 river sailings in 2027 and 160 in 2028, covering more than 50 destinations on the Rhine and Danube.
Celebrity Cruises President Laura Hodges Bethge said: “Our Before and After Stays are more than an extension of a Celebrity River Cruises holiday, these stays are designed to deepen connection – to the cities, to the people who bring them to life, and to each other – leaving guests with the kind of stories and feelings that only come from truly getting close to a place.”
