To toast her decade at sea, you have the chance to win one of four Britannia seven-night cruise holidays to the Norwegian Fjords or Spain and France in 2025 or 2026*. All you have to do is head over to Shine Rewards Club to book and spin every time you make a Select Price Britannia booking between 6-20 June 2025.

Britannia’s big reveal

Britannia was unveiled in March 2015, and received a royal inauguration in Southampton by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, who was one of the first guests to step on board and enjoy a delicious spot of lunch while looking out over Britannia’s home port. It’s safe to say Britannia had a more than warm welcome to the P&O Cruises fleet.

Special moments on board

Over the past decade, 2.8 million thirst-quenching cups of tea have been served on board Britannia, countless scrumptious scones enjoyed, and an impressive number of soothing massages delivered. But the fact is, we’re only scratching the surface of what truly makes Britannia impressive.

Britannia was the largest ship built for the UK market in 2015. She transports more than 3,600 guests to their dream destinations for extraordinary experiences. In her 10 years of service, she has won awards including Best New Ship Launch, Best New Cruise Ship and Best New Ocean Ship.

P&O Cruises’ flagship has also hosted several popular TV shows and has visited Barbados more times than a coconut at a tiki bar.

From the Caribbean to Cartagena

As the leaves drop and the frosts of the British Isles creep in, Britannia makes her way across the Atlantic to the Caribbean’s golden sands in October. Here, your customers can take a stroll under palms or do the quintessential Caribbean thing and sip a local and delicious rum punch whilst chilling on the beach.

After overwintering in the Caribbean, Britannia turns her attention to a wealth of destinations, from Northern Europe and Scandinavia to the Mediterranean. Besides that, Spanish destinations like Cartagena, Cádiz and Mallorca, with their stunning landscapes and zesty vibrance, are just some of the places your customers can get to the heart of with Britannia.

Her other ventures include sailing to the Norwegian Fjords, where sheer cliffs seemingly spring from still, shimmering waters. And if they want to see breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and tumbling waterfalls whilst breathing in fresh Scandinavian air, they can just step ashore.

A special cruise for her 10 years at sea

With over a million nautical miles sailed, Britannia is marking the occasion with her upcoming 14-night 10-year anniversary cruise around the British Isles.

Departing from Southampton this month (June), guests will visit Invergordon (pictured above), Orkney, Belfast, Liverpool and Cobh (tours to Cork), and she’ll cruise by the Scottish Islands. Shore experience highlights on offer include the Bostadh Iron Age Settlement (from Stornoway), Giant’s Causeway (from Belfast) and Footsteps of The Beatles in Liverpool, to name a few. On board, celebrations will feature P&O Cruises Food Heroes Olly Smith and Marco Pierre White, as well as tasting masterclasses by Salcombe Distilling Co.

Special entertainment from British talent will also feature. This cruise holiday marks another footnote in Britannia’s history, and with many more years at sea on the horizon, she’ll continue to bring your customers unforgettable holiday memories.
