Travel Gossip launched The Travel Agent Awards to celebrate the driving force of the travel industry: the agents across the country who go above and beyond to make every journey special.

These regional awards recognise and champion agents at the heart of their local communities, shining a light on the best in England and Wales.

Our inaugural ceremony was held in the North East of England in 2026, at the long-established Geordie Ball — which we acquired, together with the South West & Wales Ball, from Darren Phillips.

Darren built both events into must-attend fixtures on the industry calendar, and Travel Gossip is proud to carry that legacy forward, elevating them further with the introduction of The Travel Agent Awards.

Next up: the North West awards, at a gala event at Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel in September 2026, followed by the Midlands awards in February 2027.
