Ryanair alone has cancelled 170 flights due to the industrial action, disrupting more than 30,000 passengers.

And Jet2 is warning customers that the walkout could lead to some delays, In a messasge, posted on its website, the airline said flights travelling through French air space could be affected by the strike, until 5 July.

It warned customers they might be sitting for longer on aircraft waiting to depart, but said it aims to keep disruption ‘to a minimum’.
