TUI Group CEO Sebastian Ebel has said the operator is ‘proud’ and ‘honoured’ to be supplying products to rival Jet2 through its TUI Musement division.
Jet2 announced last week it will sell TUI Musement’s range of excursions, activities and attraction tickets.
The collaboration will be rolled out throughout this year, initially to customers who book directly with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. It will be available for trade bookings later, although Jet2 has not given a time frame.
Sebastian said: “We are very proud and very grateful that Jet2 chose TUI Musement. It’s a big responsibility for us and a big move for us in the B2B space.
“It’s really big step forward for Musement.
“Every customer brings you a high responsibility to deliver what they want, but it’s [the Jet2 deal] an even bigger responsibility to deliver.
“We feel very honoured to get this trust. We believe we have to work even harder to fulfil this.”
TUI Group’s first-quarter results show TUI Musement sold 2.3 million experiences, up 1% year-on-year, with the number of transfers remaining constant at six million.
TUI has announced record results for the first quarter of 2026, although it said its Hotels & Resorts lost €10 million in period as a result of the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa to Jamaica last year.
