Former Specialist Holidays Group Sales Director Simon Garrido has joined Typically Holidays as Business Development Director.
Typically Managing Director Daniele Broccoli said: “I’ve known Simon for years. He’s not only a fantastic team player and businessman, but also a great guy all round.
“Looking ahead, I want to bring Typically to the next level and I know Simon’s wealth of experience, plus his credentials in the highest end of luxury travel, will be a brilliant asset.
“I’m thrilled that he’s on board to guide us as we continue to refine what we offer, and bring even more trade partners into the Typically network.”
Simon added: “I’m a big admirer of the scope and ambition of Typically Holidays, which, despite its name, is anything but typical.
“After 40-plus years, this much-loved family business has built up an enviable reputation as a respected Italy specialist, and become a trusted partner for Spanish and Portuguese trips too.
“I know the extensive work that’s gone into creating its overall range, not least its recently launched Luxury Collection. I’m looking forward to being part of the journey from here.”
Simon left SHG in March, after a year with the business. Previously, he was with Travelopia.
