Specialist Holidays Group has confirmed it will appoint a replacement for Sales Director Simon Garrido (pictured second on the left) who leaves this week.
Simon, who joined SHG last year after five years at Travelopia, has been involved in integrating the SHG brands since the group was acquired by TravCorp Holdings in July 2025.
SHG includes Sovereign, Citalia and American Holidays.
Group CEO Andy Freeth said: “We’re very grateful to Simon for his significant work in helping us integrate, shape and grow our expanded travel trade team.
“Simon leaves us in great shape for what’s to come for Specialist Holidays Group. We wish him well with the next chapter of his career.”
Prior to his roles at SHG and Travelopia, Simon worked at Monarch Travel Group, Attraction World and Global Travel Group.
The current SHG trade team includes: Head of Trade Partnerships Jorge Quibell; Trade Partnerships Managers Kim Sellman and Luke Swarbrook; and Trade Partnerships Executive Maria Petkova.
A spokesperson said SHG will replace Simon, but his replacement has not been confirmed.
