Sani/Ikos signals further UK growth with six new roles

Luxury hotel group Sani/Ikos has created six new trade-dedicated roles for the UK and Ireland.

These include four new sales managers, providing dedicated account management to help travel agents increase their product knowledge.

Brendan Mallon is joining from Oasis Travel, where he is Retail Development Manager, to cover the trade in Scotland and Ireland; Leiza Sullivan from APT will be responsible for the North of England; Karl Oliver, currently Business Development Manager at JTA, will look after the Midlands;  Francesca Thompson will take on the role of the Sales Manager South, joining from P&O Cruises where she is Destination Innovation Executive.

The new sale team will report to Head of Sales and Marketing UK & Eire Andrea Keeble.

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Lee Barker said: “We are delighted to welcome our new team members and further solidify the Sani/Ikos Group’s commitment to the trade.

“We have significant growth plans over the next few years with three new Ikos properties announced and further developments at Sani Resort. It is an exciting time for our brands and we recognise that our trade partners are a crucial part of this journey and increased support is essential.”

The group has also appointed Tasha Smith, from Hyatt Inclusive Collect, as Sales Manager, Tour Operations, responsible for commercial and strategic account management.

It is also looking to hire a second sales support executive based in Thessaloniki in Greece.
