Operator acquires Jetline assets

Direct-sell operator Travelodeal has acquired the assets of Jetline, which ceased trading after going into administration earlier this month.

Included in the pre-pack deal are customer and marketing databases, website domains and content, the Jetline Holidays and Jetline Cruise brand intellectual property, technology system, server and phone numbers.

London-based Travelodeal hasn’t taken over any existing bookings or obligations, but said that, as an ATOL and ABTA bonded company ‘we are happy to help where possible’.

The operator said a ‘handful’ of Jetline staff are helping temporarily with some customer-facing support, currently on a freelance basis.

“Jetline staff have a wealth of knowledge with some having worked for the company for over a decade therefore we are in ongoing conversations with some of the team about potentially moving over to Travelodeal on a longer-term basis,” it said.

Travelodeal has been operating for more than 10 years, specialising in tailor-made holidays, escorted tours and cruises and has a high level of repeat business.

Travelodeal is reviewing whether to retain the Jetline brand, adding: “The brand is known, but the collapse has affected trust.

“We’re weighing up whether to relaunch Jetline with a new face or phase it out and bring everything under Travelodeal, which has a clean reputation. We’ll make that call based on feedback and what works best long-term.

“This move marks a forward-looking chapter — our focus is on delivering exceptional value and service under the Travelodeal banner, while introducing the Jetline audience to a wider, more reliable, and more dynamic holiday offering.”

Travelodeal co-owner and Managing Director Mazdiyar Daruwala said: “At Travelodeal, we’ve built our reputation on delivering exceptional value, trusted service, and unforgettable travel experiences.

“The acquisition of the Jetline brand and customer base aligns perfectly with our vision to lead the UK market in tailor-made holidays, escorted tours, and cruises.

“Jetline’s strong brand recognition, paired with Travelodeal’s scale, innovation, and customer-first ethos, creates an exciting opportunity to grow even further. We’re not just continuing a legacy – we’re elevating it, under a brand that travellers already know and trust.”

Marketing Director Kay Bustin added: “The acquisition of Jetline marks a significant milestone in our journey – one that aligns seamlessly with our ambition to lead the UK market in tailor-made holidays, escorted tours, and cruises.

“As a business we have been busy recently launching a brand-new website, as well as expanding our product range and growing our media and affiliate partnerships across the UK, US and Canadian markets.

“Jetline’s well-established brand, combined with Travelodeal’s scale, innovation, and commitment to customer satisfaction, opens the door to even greater possibilities.”
