Norwegian Cruise Line is to open a six-acre waterpark on its private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay, next summer.
Great Tides Waterpark will feature 19 waterslides, a lazy river, a splash zone for kids, cliffside jumps and swim-up bars.
One of the highlights will be the Tidal Tower, which will have eight slides, including racing slides.
The cruise line had already previously announced a significant development of the 270-acre island, including the installation of a pier, which will allow two of the New Era ships currently planned for NCL to dock at the island at the same time.
NCL says it will welcome a million guests to Great Stirrup Cay on 15 of its ships in 2026, including its newest ship, Norwegian Aqua.
