Brilliant Travel member AllWays Travel has made it through to the finals of the UK StartUp Awards 2026.
The independent agency, which launched in 2025 with a mission to make it easier for people with accessible needs to travel, is a regional finalist in the Consumer Services StartUP of the Year category for Scotland.
AllWays is one of more than 900 businesses shortlisted for this year’s UK StartUp Awards, now in its fifth year. They all launched within the last three years.
The travel agency was founded last year by Edinburgh-based Sarah Baum and Michael Connolly, who said: “From day one, my focus has been on creating a travel service that genuinely puts people first.
“Travel should feel exciting, not stressful, and we’ve built AllWays Travel around making the whole experience simple, personal and completely tailored to each client.
“Being named a finalist for the Scotland region is a proud moment for our small team, and it validates our mission to bring a human touch back to the travel industry.
“Regional winners will go on to compete at the national final at Ideas Fest in September 2026, and we are thrilled to be part of that journey.”
Professor Dylan Jones-Evans, co-founder of the UK StartUp Awards, said: “New businesses are the driving force behind any thriving economy, generating employment, pioneering innovation, and contributing to prosperity right across the UK.
“This year’s finalists represent the very best of British entrepreneurial talent, spotting opportunities and, through dedication, skill, and resilience, building ventures that are making a real difference in their industries and communities.
“The standard of entries in 2026 has been exceptional, and every finalist should be enormously proud of what they have achieved.”
