JTA Holidays generated more than €1 million in holiday quotations within its first 48 hours of trading in the Republic of Ireland.

The operator officially launched in Ireland on 6 October, securing its first booking worth more than €30,000 on launch day.

Country Manager Katie Nolan, who heads JTA Holidays Ireland, said they had seen strong engagement from the Irish travel trade. The launch marks JTA Holidays’ first expansion outside the UK.

She added: “The response from our agents has been fantastic. It’s been wonderful to see such immediate interest in our products and such strong support for the launch.

“We’re all genuinely excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to building stronger, long-lasting partnerships across our wonderful country.”

JTA Travel Group Director of Business Development Dave Green said: “We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome from the Irish travel trade. The level of engagement, enthusiasm and business generated in the past few days has been phenomenal.

“The numbers speak for themselves and we would like to extend a huge thank you to our new travel agent partners across Ireland for their amazing support and confidence.”
