Travel industry friends and colleagues of Neil Crawford, who died earlier this month, have been invited to attend his funeral.
It will take place on Thursday 8 October at 3pm at Shay Grange Crematorium, Long Lane, Heaton, BD9 6ST.
The funeral will be followed by a celebration of Neil’s life at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club, 34 Wagon Lane, Bingley, BD16 1LT.
Neil’s family have asked for people to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow everyone to be accommodated in good time.
They expect a large number of people at the funeral, so friends and colleagues planning to attend both the service and celebration have been asked to confirm by email before Wednesday 30 September.
The dress code is formal, smart or casual. Donations can be made to Mind or the Samaritans ahead of the funeral, or in lieu of flowers on the day.
A livestream of the service will be available via a secure link to people who are unable to attend.
The family added: “Neil leaves a son, Louis William Charlie Crawford and will be dearly missed by partner Kathryn and daughter Gracie.
“The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has respected their wishes regarding social media posts. They have taken great comfort from everyone who has contacted them with messages of sympathy or commented underneath Simon’s [Simon Taylor] initial announcement.
Anyone planning to attend should email [email protected] with ‘yes’ in the subject line, along with the number of people, no later than Wednesday 30 September.
