Corendon Airlines will add more capacity on two routes from the UK for summer 2026.
The airline currently flies from six UK airports – Newcastle, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Stansted – to Antalya in Turkiye, and from Manchester and Gatwick to Heraklion in Greece.
For summer 2025, Corendon operated two to three flights a week from Manchester to Heraklion. That route has been expanded for summer 2026 to up to three in the shoulder season and to four in the peak season.
From Stansted, capacity to Antalya will be boosted from two flights a week this summer to five in the 2026 shoulder season and daily in the peak summer.
In total, UK capacity will increase by about 9% next year to nearly 300,000, up from 270,000 for 2025.
UK Country Manager Matthew Carpenter said he had hoped to add a third destination, Hurghada in Egypt, from the UK for winter 2025/26, after the airline opened a base there in June.
Speaking at Corendon’s Get Together Amsterdam 2025 trade event on Wednesday, Matthew said: “We couldn’t get it over the line in time, but we’ve had meaningful discussions with partners and the door is not shut. It’s something we will look at for next year and we’re optimistic about a UK route there.”
