Celestyal has cancelled its Arabian Gulf programme for winter 2026/27 and extended its Mediterranean schedule instead.
Celestyal Discovery, which carries up to 1,360 guests, will operate two additional ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ departures in November 2026, followed by four more sailings in March 2027.
Meanwhile, 1,260-guest Celestyal Journey will add four departures in March 2027, including two ‘Heavenly Greece, Italy and Croatia’ itineraries and two ‘Idyllic Greece’ sailings.
In addition, Celestyal Discovery will operate a new Western Mediterranean programme for both winter 2026/27 and winter 2027/28. Details of the new itineraries and pricing will be released soon, with the cruises on sale from June 15.
Chief Commercial Officer Lee Haslett said the company has ‘decided to focus on strengthening the authentically Mediterranean offering,’ following a review of its winter deployment.
“As a brand rooted in the region, these updates allow us to add more choice across some of our most popular itineraries and introduce brand new Western Mediterranean sailings for the first time,” he added.
“We know our guests value Celestyal for our warm hospitality, destination immersion and premium casual approach to cruising, and this extended programme will give them even more opportunities to explore the region with us.”
