British Airways has suspended flights to Doha for an extra day, and services to Amman and Bahrain until 11 July.
Earlier this week, the airline suspended Doha flights up to and including 25 June, but now says they have been suspended today as well.
A BA spokesperson told Travel Gossip: “We have temporarily adjusted our schedules to and from Doha, Amman and Bahrain. We’re contacting our customers to apologise and advise them of their travel options.”
Meanwhile, Israeli airspace has reopened following the ceasefire agreed between Israel and Iran earlier this week.
Flights have started operating from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, with a TUS Airways service to London Gatwick scheduled to depart later today.
The Foreign Office (FCDO) updated its travel advice for Israel on 25 June, stating: “Israel has lifted the nationwide state of emergency and reopened its airspace.
“Ben-Gurion Airport and Haifa Airport are restarting operations. The current situation has disrupted air links out of the country and may disrupt road links and border crossings.
“It may take time for airports to return to normal levels of operation and flight availability.”
The FCDO currently advises against all travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
