Audley Travel has promoted Sarah Turner from Trade Partnerships Manager to the newly created position of Key Account Manager.
Sarah’s expanded role, which begins on 1 October, includes responsibility for relationships with top performing agent partnerships, enhancing the operator’s luxury travel training proposition and identifying new business opportunities.
She joined Audley in 2024 from APT Travel Group as Business Development Manager, and has previously worked at Abercrombie & Kent, Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Railbookers.
Audley is now recruiting Sarah’s replacement as Trade Partnerships Manager for the South of the UK.
Head of Trade Sales Greg Thurston said: “Sarah is the perfect fit for this role. Not only is she an exceptional relationship builder, who cares passionately about experiential travel and exceptional customer service, but she has also been instrumental in developing new and effective initiatives that take Audley’s trade support to another level. Our Future Faces of Luxury Travel training programme is a perfect example of this, which was one of the most well-received and impactful training initiatives we have ever run – Sarah will be spearheading the development of this initiative into 2027.
“The introduction of the Key Account Manager role, alongside our recent addition of Lucy Park as Trade Partnerships Manager for the North and Scotland, is further commitment to the future of our trade partnerships. We see a huge opportunity with agents, and these roles will help us deliver our goal of doubling our sales from travel agents over the next few years.”
Sarah added: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be stepping up into the Key Account Manager role. The two and a half years since I started at Audley have been incredible, seeing how much our trade sales have grown, and the belief and support we’ve received from agents across the industry has been such a privilege.
“I’m incredibly proud of the partnerships we’ve built, and I’m excited to approach this next chapter with curiosity and heart, deepening our relationships with the partners who have supported us so brilliantly, finding new ways to help grow their businesses alongside our own, and continuing to champion and learn from the next generation of travel agents coming into our industry. There’s still so much more we can achieve together as a team, and I genuinely can’t wait to see what comes next.”
Earlier this week, Audley also announced the promotion of Lisa Fitzell from Chief Product and Operations Officer to UK Managing Director.
She replaces Mark Hanson, who is leaving the operator after 20 years.
