New documentary spotlights Hebridean Princess and Scotland itineraries

Hebridean Island Cruises has partnered on a new documentary showcasing small-ship cruising in Scotland, now available on Apple TV and Amazon.

‘Scotland’s Highlands & Islands with Lewis Nunn’ premiered today (6 July), featuring the 48-guest Hebridean Princess on a seven-night ‘Botanical Wonders of the West Coast’ itinerary.

Filmed on a round-trip sailing from Oban, the one-hour documentary follows presenter Lewis Nunn as he explores the Inner Hebrides, including visits to Mull, Colonsay, Raasay and Gairloch. The itinerary highlights local food and drink, distillery visits, wildlife and guided shore experiences.

The line has operated in the Scottish Highlands and islands for more than 35 years, with a fleet of small ships carrying between 38 and 50 guests.

Hebridean Island Cruises Managing Director Ken Charleson said: “This documentary captures the soul of small ship cruising in Scotland — the quiet moments, the wild beauty and the deep connection between people, place and sea.

“It’s not just about the journey through these remarkable waters, but about slowing down enough to truly experience them. We’re proud to be part of a story that reflects our passion for this beautiful destination.”
