NCL puts summer 2028 programme on sale

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has opened bookings for summer 2028, with more than 450 sailings across 20 ships calling at nearly 150 destinations.

The programme includes 175 overnight stays and late departures, with roughly 80% of voyage days in port, and calls averaging more than 10 hours in each port.

New additions include Norwegian Jewel’s first calls in Morocco, Norwegian Dawn’s maiden visits to Zadar in Croatia and Cagliari in Sardinia, and Norwegian Gem’s first season sailing from Philadelphia to Bermuda.

The Alaska programme returns, with Norwegian Encore, Bliss and Joy offerimg seven-night sailings from Seattle, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday departures.

Norwegian Spirit will sail 11- to 13-day itineraries across the South Pacific, including Fiji, French Polynesia, Samoa, the Cook Islands and Hawaii.

The line will also offer three- and four-night Bahamas cruises on Norwegian Aqua from Miami, alongside an expanded programme at private island destination Great Stirrup Cay.

UK departures are included in the programme, with ships sailing from Southampton to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. Highlights include an 11-day repositioning sailing between Barcelona, Spain, and Southampton and a new nine-day roundtrip from Southampton in September 2028, calling at France, Spain and Portugal. Both cruises are on Norwegian Jewel.

Bookings are now open, with deposits from £100 per person and ‘Free at Sea’ upgrades, which include unlimited premium drinks, specialty dining, excursion credits and wi-fi.
